Regulatory Traffic Signs

Many businesses in New South Wales have a legal obligation to display regulatory signs. This is particularly important for those operating in the construction, transport, logistics, manufacturing, licensed venues, petrochemicals, and chemical industries.

This type of signery demonstrates that your company has a commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of your employees, customers, and visitors by communicating your policies and the correct course of action for them to take.

For this reason, you need the peace of mind of entrusting this vital task to experienced professionals like us, who will create prominent safety, traffic, and road signage for you that meets all necessary government standards.

We’ve been doing it for more than 25 years in Sydney and are considered by our customers to be the best in the business.

What Type of Regulatory Signs Are There?

Regulatory signs take many different forms, but they have one thing in common. They all convey instructions about what you must or must not do to avoid breaching safety procedures, standing orders, or simply breaking the law.

The ones you will require will depend on the nature of your business. However, typically they include:
  • Danger/hazard signs
  • Emergency information
  • Fire safety signs
  • Mandatory signs (usually for protective equipment or clothing)
  • Prohibition signs
  • Speed limits (or Traffic signage advising of other restrictions)
  • Warning Signs

Additionally, in some industries, such as licensed venues, they may also advise of the right of management to refuse service to intoxicated or aggressive patrons or warn minors of their legal obligation to not serve anyone alcohol under the age of 18.

These signs are located throughout business environments, most typically where dangerous machinery or hazardous materials are present, such as in car parks, fire exits, entryways, lifts, and stairwells.
